Improving GP access
Since being elected in July 2024, I have visited most of the GP surgeries in our constituency to better understand the challenges around primary care. I'm working with them, the NHS and property developers to expand local GP provision and access to appointments.
GP Services
I'm working with the NHS, the Borough Council and housing developers to expand GP provision in Tunbridge Wells Borough, including Paddock Wood. I'm also calling on Kent County Council to use more developer levies to fund local health services.
I've worked with local GPs to identify the challenges that they're facing and forced the Integrated Care Board (which commission health services in our local area) to investigate. Now, the ICB are working with local GPs to address these challenges and find long lasting solutions.
